§ 11-2. Violations and penalties.

Any person, firm, corporation or agent who shall violate a provision of this housing code, or fail to comply with any of the requirements thereof, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor punishable as provided in section 1-8 of the Code of Ordinances of the town.

An owner, architect, engineer, builder, contractor or person or corporation employed therewith and who may have assisted in the commission of such violation shall each be guilty of a separate offense and upon conviction thereof shall be punished as for a misdemeanor as set forth hereinabove.

Each continuance of any violation not corrected within the time allowed shall constitute a separate offense, punishable as hereinabove set forth.
