§ 16-1. Plumbing code adopted, incorporated by reference.

For the purpose of establishing rules regulating the installation, alteration, replacement, relocation, addition to, use and maintenance of all plumbing systems; and providing for the licensing of persons engaging in the business of plumbing contracting; providing for penalties for the violation of the provisions of this chapter, there is hereby adopted that certain gas code known as the Standard Plumbing Code, the current edition and all subsequent amendments and editions thereto and Appendix E, Sizing of Water Piping Systems, Appendix F, Structural Safety, and Appendix G, Fuel Gas Piping, of said code; and save and except such portions as are hereinafter deleted, modified or amended, of which not less than one copy has been and now is filed in the office of the clerk of the town, and the same is hereby adopted and incorporated by reference as fully as if set out at length herein, and the provisions thereof shall be controlling within the corporate limits of the town.
