A customer of the municipal water system prior to receiving water service, shall deposit
the following sum for:
Water meters ¾″ to 1″
$200.00
Water meters 1½″
300.00
Water meters 2″ or larger
375.00
with the town. The deposit shall be refundable when water service is terminated, provided
that all accrued charges for water service have been paid. This section shall apply
only to water service furnished to property which is not owned by the user of such
service, but is occupied by said user under lease or other similar arrangement. Further,
a transfer fee of twenty dollars ($20.00) shall be charged to water and/or gas customers.
