§ 6-4. Preparation of preparedness plan for emergency operation; training of government personnel and volunteers.

The director of the civil defense organization for the Town of Berwick, Louisiana is further charged with the responsibility of preparing a preparedness plan for emergency operation in conformity with the preparedness plan for emergency operations for the State of Louisiana applicable with the capability of said town so as to insure maximum protection of life and property of said town in any kind of emergency. The said director is charged with the mission of coordinating and training all elements of local government in their individual emergency responsibilities and further in the recruitment and training of all volunteers deemed necessary to assist local government during periods of emergency.
