§ 18-17.1. Same—For users outside incorporated area of town.

  • (a)

    Rates. The charges for natural gas service outside the town shall be on a graduated rate. All gas service bills shall be computed according to the following rates for all classes of user of natural gas outside the corporate limits of the town:

    (1)

    First two hundred (200) cubic feet per month, ten dollars ($10.00) minimum.

    (2)

    All gas over two hundred (200) cubic feet per month at one dollar and thirty five cents ($1.35) per each one hundred (100) cubic feet, or fraction thereof.

    (3)

    The minimum monthly bill shall be ten dollars ($10.00).

    (b)

    Fuel adjustment cost. There shall be added to the above schedule of rates, a fuel adjustment cost in a sum equivalent to one cent ($0.01) per one thousand (1,000) cubic feet for each one cent ($0.01) variation in the average price of natural gas to the town for the month immediately proceeding the present billing period, in excess of three dollars and eighty cents ($3.80) per thousand cubic feet.
