§ 2-6. Corporate boundaries described.

The boundaries and corporate limits of the town as heretofore existing and as extended and enlarged, shall be and are hereby defined and described as follows:

Commencing at the intersection of the right descending bank of the Lower Atchafalaya River and the extension of the westernmost right-of-way of Thorguson Drive, said point being the point of beginning and labeled Point "A": thence in a northerly direction along the western right-of-way line of Thorguson Drive to a point two hundred (200) feet south of the southern right-of-way of the Southern Pacific Railroad Company, labeled Point "B"; thence in a westerly direction along a line parallel to and two hundred (200) feet south of the southern right-of-way line of Southern Pacific Railroad Company to a point due south of a point common to Sections 22, 23 and 40, T15S-R12E, St. Mary Parish, labeled Point "C"; thence due north to the northern right-of-way line for U.S. Highway 90, labeled Point "D"; thence in a westerly direction along the northern right-of-way line for U.S. Highway 90 to the intersection with the eastern property line of Lagonda Trust, labeled Point "E"; thence N35°45'W to the intersection of the southern property line of Elie A. Bergeron as shown on a map of said property as made by L.A. Loustalot, C.E., and dated November 26, 1919, which is recorded in St. Mary Parish C.O.B. 3-W, Page 181, labeled Point "F"; thence northeasterly, northwesterly, easterly, northerly and N35°W along said property line to the northern right-of-way line of La. Hwy. 182, labeled Point "G"; thence in an easterly direction along the northern right-of-way of La. Hwy. 182 to its intersection with the prolongation of the east line of the property of B.A. Adams, Sr. and Luke Leonard Guarisco as recorded in C. O. B. 35-Y, Folio 672 of the records of St. Mary Parish and being labeled point "H"; thence proceeding northwesterly along said prolongation and the east line of said property of B.A. Adams, Sr. and Luke Leonard Guarisco to its intersection with the right descending bank of the Lower Atchafalaya River, labeled Point "I"; thence in an easterly and southerly direction along the meander of the right descending bank of the Lower Atchafalaya River to the point of beginning.
